The only free-standing birth center in Whatcom County, Bellingham Birth Center provides personalized, nurturing care in a homey, peaceful setting. It is a wonderful option for Bellingham residents as well as for those in outlying areas.

Guided by the knowledge that pregnancy and birth are normal life processes, Catriona Munro and Christine Gibbs founded Bellingham Birth Center to give expectant mothers and their families the option of experiencing the power and sanctity of birth in a safe, modern facility surrounded by their chosen family and friends and attended by a trusted licensed midwife.
Bellingham Birth Center offers a choice of 3 attractive birth suites with private bathrooms and comfortable furniture where women can labor without unnecessary intrusions.
